About Custom Jewelry Designer Loret

Born in California and raised in Florida, Loret is a jewelry designer of Cuban-American descent who started creating art at the age of 10. In addition to oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, her works included mosaics, charcoal art, sculptures, and jewelry.
For her, designing jewelry is an outlet for her creativity and an expression of her fashion style. She explains, “I remember drawing my sketches and begging my mother to take me to the neighborhood jeweler to have my designs created. I would intricately explain every detail of my drawing to make my vision come true.”

Her Creative Process

Every piece of Loret’s handmade jewelry collection starts as a rough sketch. She enjoys this part of her creative process because she loves conceptualizing how to engineer her various designs. Next, she creates the piece using one of two methods. The first involves forging, sawing, twisting, and fabricating her metal materials. Alternatively, she sculpts her designs in wax before casting them in sterling silver.
The finished piece is then thoroughly polished and expertly photographed to capture its one-of-a-kind beauty. Please note that Loret provides jewelry sizing services to ensure her custom creations fit you perfectly.

Loret specializes in combining precious metals and the finest gemstones to create one-of-a-kind accessories with stunning shapes, textures, and color combinations. Her designs stand out even more because of her passion for working with unexpected materials, including:

  • Fordite – An antique resin from Ford cars.
  • Surfite – Surfboard resin Loret collects from a local surfboard artist.
In addition, her artisan pieces draw inspiration from the unique essence of the various countries she has visited.
